Lemko d3900 Software Defined BTS

Lemko's premier radio access solution, the d3900BTS, is a digital base station that simultaneously supports multiple modes and multiple frequencies. Operators can deploy 2G or 3G services today and upgrade their network to 4G LTE via software in the future. Lemko's d3900BTS delivers cellular and mobile broadband services in a single BTS frame – the ultimate 4G LTE migration tool.

The d3900BTS provides the radio access or ‘eNodeB' portion of our 4G LTE/SAE solution. Lemko's Node1TM software provides complete all-IP cellular network functionality at each cell site – the vision for next generation mobile broadband networks. It supports high speed data, high quality voice and text services for 2G, 3G and 4G RAN.

The d3900BTS supports a smooth transition from GSM/UMTS based technologies to LTE. Operators can start with the HSPA or EDGE air interface (2.5G) wireless service and later add UMTS to the base station while still providing HSPA/EDGE. As another option, operators can begin with UMTS and later migrate LTE through an upgrade to the BTS and to the Node1TM packet core. This allows you to provide high quality service today and cost effectively move to LTE when subscriber devices become available.
