Node2®

Lemko's Node2 Mobility Management Entity provides the signaling functions for Lemko's broadband wireless core solutions. It acts as a bridge between Lemko's Node1 IP communication world and legacy circuit-switched SS7 networks. This delivers very low operations expense and high flexibility of an IP network while providing interoperability with existing cellular systems.

Like all Lemko solutions, Node2 is highly scalable, providing a 'pay as you grow' business model. Sizing is based on the amount of signaling links required and means carriers may separately optimize the signaling and bearer traffic. And since the software solution operates on standard off-the-shelf servers, it utilizes little power and space – the green approach needed to protect our environment.

Node2 operates with GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, EV-DO and UMTS radio access systems, bringing all of the efficiencies and cost savings of future 4G networks to operators today.
